Scenes From Last Week (2011) by Andrew Demirjian
This public installation displayed surveillance live surveillance video alongside video from the same location recorded over the previous week, synchronized to show the same moment of each day at the same time. By positioning the same moment from several days side-by-side, viewers are able to see otherwise invisible patterns in everyday life.
Andrew created Scenes From Last Week as an artist residency at Eyebeam Art and Technology Center in New York.
