Not many updates recently since I’ve mostly just been pulling my hair out trying to get this thing together.
I got the new webcam today, and while OS X can see it in the device tree, Max won’t have anything to do with it, so I may have to use my own laptop, but booted into XP to power the installation.
That will mean that every single piece of hardware I’ve used for the installation will have been switched out twice.

    Today’s Update:
The transmitter for the wireless speakers keeps turning itself off, even while connected to what seems to be a consistent power source.
In the process of pondering this problem, I managed to hit myself in the groin with a hammer.
I then proceeded to writhe on the ground in pain.
Looking up from my spot on the floor a couple of minutes later the cheerful face of the kernel panic screen was staring back at me from the monitor of the computer I was hoping to use for the installation.
I didn’t even know Power Macs got those.
I think I’m going to go home now.

Testing the size of the webcam’s field of vision

I’ve still got a fair amount to do before the 10th:
-Finish my Max patch
-Prepare my presentation-Set up the installation computer
-Install system to suspend camera
